Pro Tips for Better Crops

📐 The Rule of Thirds

Don't always center your subject. Try placing the main subject along the grid lines (specifically where lines intersect). This creates a more energetic and interesting photo.

✂️ Crop Tight

"If your pictures aren't good enough, you aren't close enough." – Robert Capa. Don't be afraid to crop out empty backgrounds to make the subject fill the frame.

📉 Avoid Upscaling

Cropping makes images smaller. If you crop a tiny part of a photo and try to stretch it to full screen, it will look pixelated. Always start with the highest resolution image possible.
