Role Description The AI Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and services in a full-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and optimizing machine learning models, building and integrating neural network architectures, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions. The role involves applying natural language processing techniques, performing pattern recognition on complex datasets, and maintaining reliable, well-tested codebases. The AI Software Engineer will also participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and stay current with emerging AI and software development best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design.
Practical experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including model training, evaluation, and optimization.
Hands-on skills in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, entity recognition, and language modeling.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, Java, C++), and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with cloud platforms and modern development practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, containers) for deploying AI services.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Background in data analysis, statistics, or MLOps, and prior work on real-world AI projects is a plus.
