Role Description The Associate Software Engineer is a full-time, remote role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support EgoTECHworld’s products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end features and APIs, debugging and resolving technical issues, and participating in code reviews. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical implementations, contributing to technical documentation, and continuously improving system performance and reliability. The Associate Software Engineer is expected to learn new tools and frameworks, follow best practices, and actively participate in remote meetings and agile processes.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Candidates should possess experience in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production code.
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to write maintainable, testable code.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work in remote, distributed teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), agile methodologies, and basic cloud or DevOps concepts is beneficial.
