Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing Egotechworld’s IT infrastructure, systems, and services. This role manages daily operations of networks, servers, cloud environments, and business applications to ensure reliability, security, and performance. The IT Manager will coordinate and lead IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. The role includes monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and enforcing security and compliance standards. The IT Manager also mentors IT staff, supports strategic technology planning, and recommends improvements that align with Egotechworld’s growth and service goals.
Qualifications
Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint management.
Experience with IT security practices, identity and access management, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in IT operations and service management, such as incident management, change management, and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement practical solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven experience managing or mentoring IT professionals in a distributed or remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, ITIL, AWS/Azure certifications) are beneficial.
Experience in a technology services, consulting, or SaaS environment is an advantage.
