Role Description The Software Manual Tester role is a full-time, remote position responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing requirements, designing and executing test cases, documenting test results, and reporting defects clearly to development teams. The tester will collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to validate functionality, usability, and regression scenarios. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, participating in test planning activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with an understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Hands-on experience in Test Execution and creating, maintaining, and reviewing Test Cases.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying issues, troubleshooting defects, and interpreting test results.
Attention to detail, structured documentation skills, and the ability to clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with bug tracking or test management tools and basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with basic automation concepts, cross-browser or cross-platform testing, and knowledge of agile methodologies is an advantage.
