Role Description The Software Test Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions delivered by EgoTECHworld. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing manual test cases, validating new features, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues. The analyst will review requirements and specifications, create test documentation, and participate in test planning and status meetings. This role also involves analyzing test results, suggesting improvements to processes and products, and contributing to overall quality assurance best practices. The position requires consistent communication in a remote setting, effective time management, and adherence to agreed delivery timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing to thoroughly validate software functionality.
Candidates should possess solid Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills to design test approaches and maintain high product standards.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret results, investigate issues, and support data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with test case management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar) is beneficial.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement in testing practices.
Relevant education or certifications in software testing, computer science, or related fields are an advantage.
