Role Description The Web Application Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code for front-end and back-end components, implementing new features, and optimizing existing functionality for performance and scalability. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality releases through testing and code reviews. The role also involves staying current with industry best practices, contributing to documentation, and continuously improving development processes and tooling.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Web Application Development and experience building and maintaining Web Applications.
Candidates should possess back-end skills, including Back-End Web Development and Software Development in modern frameworks and languages.
Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and apply OOP principles to design scalable, maintainable systems.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows is beneficial.
Familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud or containerized environments is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective remote communication skills are required.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
