Role Description The Web Designer is a full-time, remote role responsible for creating visually engaging and user-friendly website layouts and interfaces. Day-to-day tasks include designing web pages, collaborating with developers to implement designs, and ensuring consistent branding across all digital assets. The Web Designer will work on responsive design solutions, optimize user experience and accessibility, and refine graphics and visual elements for web and mobile platforms. The role involves ongoing collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, iterate on design concepts, and deliver high-quality designs within set timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills to create intuitive, mobile-friendly user interfaces.
Candidates should possess Graphic Design and Graphics skills to develop visually appealing layouts, icons, and imagery.
Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills to translate design concepts into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Candidates should possess familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and an understanding of UX/UI best practices.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple remote projects.
Experience with accessibility standards, version control tools, and basic SEO principles is beneficial.
A portfolio demonstrating web and graphic design work and prior experience in a similar role or relevant education is preferred.
